Challenge:
An appetite for industry disruption and continued business growth led the Peliwica directors to explore the market for a system that would give them the right platform to significantly grow all elements of their company. Following multiple successful demos and workshops, Peliwica decided that Cooper Rose Digital were the right InsurTech partners for them. Peliwica was in need of a flexible, but stable full stack core, end-to-end solution.
Approach:
With our consulting partners Sandpiper Consulting, who employed business led discovery workshops, proved invaluable in identifying the immediate system and business needs, as well as the ability for the system to grow in line with the ambitious Peliwica product delivery roadmap.
As an MGA with full underwriting authority, Peliwica required a comprehensive rating engine, along with manual risk underwriting, which was built up around a complex underwriting guideline. Looking to automate the majority of the premium calculations with the ability for their underwriters to manually assess the risk profile of any case in a user friendly and intuitive way.
With multiple broker distribution channels, we needed to understand the permission matrix, segmenting data and policies at a broker level.

Outcome and next steps:
Following our highly successful phase delivery approach, the go-live version of the system has now been pushed to live. A features and product roadmap has been signed off to cover the next 12 months, which is being led by Sandpiper Consulting and delivered by Cooper Rose Digital. Commercial insurance, motor insurance, Pet Insurance, Farm Insurance are just a few exciting products which will be developed over the coming year.
